About Linden

Linden was born and raised in Amherstburg, where he attended Stella Maris Catholic Elementary School and later General Amherst High School, serving as Student Council President. His roots in the community run deep, with his family’s history in the area stretching back generations; his great-great-grandparents once lived on the 3rd Concession of Anderdon, where they raised ten children while managing a farm.

After high school, Linden pursued an Honours Bachelor of Commerce and Political Science degree at the University of Windsor’s Odette School of Business. Upon graduating, he became a licensed Mortgage Agent with Dominion Lending Centres National Ltd., Super Mortgage Team.

In October 2022, Linden made history by becoming the youngest person to be elected to Amherstburg Town Council, and one of the youngest ever in Windsor-Essex.

Family is a cornerstone of Linden's life. As the eldest brother to Nolan Crain and a partner to Julia Sloan, he values spending quality time with those closest to him.

Beyond his role as a Town Councillor, Linden is deeply engaged with his community as the host of The Coffee with Crainer Show, where he interviews local leaders to shed light on the stories and successes within Windsor-Essex.
